Last night was a big shop for me and DH, actually it was three shops since I have quite a few of the Breakfast Sale PQ's to use up before they expire next week. Its definitely a stock up week for us with the Smart Balance milk and the Mrs Pauls frozen fish. I got the email earlier last week with the coupon for BOGO fish, so I cranked up all the computers and printed my allotment. I also wanted to use up the expired SB milk PQ before the 30 day mark so this sale on milk was just in time. And as luck would have it, I was able to print the BOGO milk coupon from FB after I bought a bunch yesterday. The dates on the milk in the store are only going out to Aug 8 so I'm going to try to get some rainchecks so I can buy some later in the month as I deplete our stockpile. I checked my printable stash and found some older Right Guard Deodorant and Body Wash $2/2 MQs to get a jump on that deal before the newspaper coupon comes out this weekend and then it will all be gone.
We decided to get some gas cards this week so it takes a lot of product to get up to the fifty dollar threshold. I used a raincheck on the Bushes baked beans, got a few of each vitamin and got the free stuff like Magnum ice cream (which we've given away already - no room with all that fish in the freezer), plus the free Right Guard Body Wash helped the total. I added all my receipts together to get a total of $30 spent, and Publix tells me I saved $244.95, for a savings rate of close to 88%, this includes the $50 gas card and all the product in the picture.
