The most exciting part of this trip was getting some new socks! And with no coupon! Besides that it's mostly stockpile stuff like oatmeal and soups for the fall. We don't get many kids coming around for Halloween but I figured I would just hand out the Lindt truffles for candy and skip buying any other Halloween candy. I'm bummed that there aren't any more Save A Lot coupons and now must dig into my Winn Dixie stash of $5 off $30 coupons. I could have gotten a gas card but we got over a dozen last time a couple weeks ago, so I skipped that deal. I did see that others have gotten the Silver Floss sauerkraut for $0.69 but in my store it was $0.89, so with the $0.75/1 pdf coupon it would have only cost fourteen cents - but DH vetoed that idea. I'll probably go back to get more socks though. Anyway, it ended up costing $0.53 plus tax for a total of $2.03, with a savings of $107.93.
