New Swagbuck Safe Icon for SB Codes

Instead of 'Gimme' box, Swagbucks homepage has a new 'Swagcode safe icon' to enter the code (in the top right corner) next to your mail icon. I have attached the image with this post.

I Just Won Swagbucks! Here's How

Every morning I check into Swagbucks to do the daily poll for 1 pt, and the NOSO (No Obligation Search Offers) for 2 pts. Today was my lucky day and I won Eleven Swagbucks! I also got 50 swagbucks on my birthday this week, and I've been getting swagbucks daily by participating in the music madness polls. For every 450 swagbucks you can redeem it for a $5 Amazon gift card which is the best value in my opinion.

 

Here's a couple tips I've found to help me win. If you haven't joined yet, this is a great opportunity because it is only a couple minutes of your time and if you remember to check in each day, you can earn prizes pretty quickly. I don't usually do the swagbucks games or other offers, but getting swag codes sent to my smart phone via twitter (just send "Follow Swagcodespoiler" to 40404) is pretty simple, and you'll get a text everytime there's a swagcode found.

 

I also have the swagbucks widget on my iGoogle page and use that to launch my daily search. I find that more often than not, I win swagbucks if I search from the widget but my account is not logged in. The page tells me I might win if I were logged in, so I log in and whala - it gives me swagbucks!

Swag Bucks Swagstakes Tip

 

Even though I've been signed up with Swagbucks for over a year now, I didn't realize until just this week all the cool things you can get by entering swagstakes. As you know there are lots of ways to get swagbucks and sometimes the swag codes we get are for "sister sites" and can't be redeemed for all the usual stuff in the swag store. At first I didn't realize these sister swag codes couldn't be used for Amazon gift cards and I would gather them up, as they are quite plentiful. But, it was annoying to calculate how many "real" swagbucks I had and when I could redeem them for my favorite swag, the Amazon gift card.

 

But yesterday at the slickdeals.net swagbuck forum (where a lot of codes are posted) a discussion on these sister codes helped me learn that these sister swag codes can be redeemed for Swagstakes which are drawings where you can get entries using your sister swag points. So, the best thing to do if you've gathered these and want to redeem them is to use them for swagstakes right after you've redeemed your "real" swagbucks for some swag. This way, you won't use your real swagbucks for swagstakes entries. You don't really want to use real swagbucks for swagstakes because you can use them for more valuable exchanges at the swag store.

What is Swagbucks?

Recently on Facebook, the question was posed? "What is this swagbucks thing?" Well, simply its a way to search and earn. If you use google to search the internet, you could start using Swagbucks instead and earn points. These points can be redeemed for gift cards and merchandise at your favorite online vendors, like Amazon. I've been using swagbucks to search for quite a while now and earn about 3 points a day, so in 15 days its enough to get a $5 Amazon gift card. So twice a month I redeem points and they email me an Amazon code. It comes out to about $10 a month. The cool thing is I have a special word that I search for every day and it gets me at least 1 or 2 SB (swagbucks). Sometimes it yeild nothing, but then I just add an "er" to the end and search again, then I get points usually. So actually, I have 2 words that NEVER fail to give me points on a daily basis.  So you could try that theory, just use a word like "suspend", and then add er to get "suspender". Or try market, and marketer.  I also check Slickdeals Swagbucks thread and people post swagbucks and hints how to find them. Its actually pretty easy and the $10 bucks a month doesn't hurt. It all adds up.
